This is our new blog to expose our track life. Here we will post our day-to-day activities about our dedication to track and field. Discussions about running, diet, nutrition, lifestyle, clothing etc. So we welcome, one and all, to running, and galore!
Great idea for a blog. It’s focused on something you are passionate about. That means you will always have something to write about. Congratulations.

Thank you Don I appreciate you! When we were contemplating about blog ideas we thought about things we were passionate about and we couldn’t find anything more worth talking about than our running experiences and adversities. Hopefully people can read our blogs and be inspired by it.

It’s true. You woke up and found yourself in Uncle Bardie Country. Now that you have followed Uncle Bardie, you may find yourself at that fork in the road that you have to take. With Uncle Bardie for a guide, you can be comforted that you may stub your toe on a pun, find you can’t resist laughing at those things you never thought funny, and wake up to wonder what Uncle Bardie is up to. It’s okay. That itch can be scratched. Simply tune in to the next Post, It could very well be a doozy or not. Either way it will be coming from the whacky mind of Uncle Bardie. So thanks for following Uncle Bardie’s Stories & Such. It beats bananas any day. Unless…but that’s a whole ‘nother thang. And one last thing. Have a great day (or night, depending on your perspective).

The Bible uses running analogies to coach and inspire perseverance and endurance in the life course God puts us on. He says run the race to win the the prize. Press on. Keep your eyes on Jesus who, for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the Father. He said consider it all joy when you encounter various trials because you know the trying of your faith produces endurance.
I run, really putt along, because I need to strengthen my spine and hips. I have osteoporosis and research says the spine and hip pounding from running causes the bones to hold on to and beef up bone mass. I’m not sure I ever put out enough effort to get endorphins flowing but I feel accomplished when I’m done and I feel I have deposited a longer life of independent living into my future.
